My B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L Necklace

Melodye and Susan

I want you to look very closely at this picture  — of me (on the left) and my sister, Susan.  Look closely at the necklaces…

This picture is definitive proof that I was, am and always will be a bossy gal!!  We probably got the exact same package of pop beads (in today’s world, you would NEVER give pop beads to a 3 and 4 year old).  Look at my LONG B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L one!!!  Susie had just enough beads to fit around her neck.

Yep, I probably talked her out of most of her beads, and convinced her that it was the right thing to do!!

I was the oldest of five girls and they called me “Mother Melodye.”  Need I ‘splain any more??

{{Sigh}} I probably haven’t changed much, I only hope that that old nature stays put away most of the time… …My mom sure did like to cut our bangs  🙂

Haha! That’s funny now that you pointed it out in the picture! As the youngest of 4, I recall MANY times being conned out of things…mostly money though!

    what bangs?! ;-0

We had pop beads too…guess they died out after my generation. Scary the things we had growing up that are TOTAL death hazards now!
